Surely all ARMY wants for Christmas is a performance by BTS, and that’s exactly what they’ll be getting! On Friday (Nov. 13), SBS announced the K-pop boy band as the first performers for the upcoming 2020 SBS Gayo Daejeon.
The yearly music festival is set to be held on Dec. 25 in the South Korean city of Daegu, and BTS will take the stage just one month after the release of their upcoming fifth Korean-language studio set, Be. The theme of this year’s SBS Gayo Daejeon will be ‘The Wonder Year.’
Coincidentally, Daegu happens to be a special place for more than one member of the boy band — V was born there, while Suga calls the city his hometown.
